HOLISTIC PSYCHOTHERAPIST
Strong Suite Therapies
I am a licensed holistic psychotherapist, astrologer, and meditation teacher in private practice in Denver, Colorado. I received my Masters in Transpersonal Counseling from the Naropa Institute (now Naropa University) in 1996, and my Bachelor of Science in Education and Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin in 1978. With a background in bodywork, I have been working one on one with clients since 1980, and doing astrological readings since 1985. Over the years I have been a teacher of a variety of subjects, including dreamwork, psychology and astrology. I was also a part of the adjunct faculty at both Regis University and Naropa University for a short time, but found I prefer working one on one with people - that's what I'm best at.
In 1982 I began a meditation practice in earnest, and over three decades took a myriad of trainings, courses, and programs in meditation. Naropa taught me mindfullness and meditation from the Buddhist approach, an echo from having studied Hakomi Body Centered Psychotherapy in the early 1980's. But meditation must become one's own, and teaching meditation now is deepening my own practice as well as my appreciation of its many gifts.
Married with an adult son, I like to work in the garden, play classical piano, and visit places that have lots of water. As you might guess, I'm a water sign.

What I call "Beth Strong 3.0" is my latest endeavor, for a lot of reasons: I am now also a Realtor! This is something that's been lurking in my subconscious for many years. Interested in more about this? Go to my real estate website, always a work in progress: www.strongsweethomes.com. My promise to you is this: there is no way for me to become a typical real estate agent. Rather, my commitment is to bring the same level of respect, integrity, support, and curiosity as I bring to everything else.
